I Will Forget This Feeling Someday by Yoru Sumino

3.0

I'm never good at reviewing things or displaying my thoughts in a complete manner, so take this review as more of a overview on both the book and my thoughts.

This book is split into 2 parts: cause and result.
One could also split it into: set-up and story.
Indeed, this book IMO is too long in its meaningless dialogue and character build. Maybe that's by design; make a character so boring it makes YOU bored on reading it, for that it succeeded.

If you're a fan (or something of the sort) of Yoru Sumino you know that the ending is perhaps the most explained ending in any Yoru Sumino book. Minimal hanging info, no abrupt ending. After reading the second part, you'll find it quite satisfactory.

Now, what themes does this book tackle? Being bound to the past. It's powerful in its sheer volume of set-up, but I found it hard to finish because of (again) the amount of set-up that kind of put me off (took me 3 months to finish!).

All-in-all, its your standard Yoru Sumino book.

P.S. another review has made me realise a feeling I have, why YS like to make insanely unique stories to just make them bland???? I don't understand!
