I remember being very excited to read this when I bought it, and then I kind of forgot what it was about and lost interest in it for a couple of years and I wanted to actually read it this year. And I managed to do it! Wahoo! Also this was a lot better than I thought it would be, I am not a huge fan of noir or mystery things but I enjoyed the angel/demon things and the historical (and queer!) nature of this. Overall, a win.
