If you're looking for any horror mangas, Tokyo Ghoul is definitely up there as a must read.

I watch season 1 of the anime then started season 2 but stopped midway just to read the manga. It was most definitely worth it, the art in the manga is beautifully scary and captivating. Reminds me a bit of Junji Ito if you are a fan of his art.

Considering that this is only Volume 1 of the manga, I feel so far the story is being fleshed out. You jump in with meeting the main character Ken Kaneki and from there, we learn fairly quickly how his life turns for the worse.

Highly recommend for horror fans. Read the manga first then watch the anime!
