I did not expect the time travel aspect. I have to admit, a part of me didn't think they were really going to do it, but it turned out so much better than I thought it would. Rachel's trip to the past was thrilling, nail-biting, and frustrating. I soaked up every interaction with Trent like a sponge, hoping for a bit more. It was very interesting going back in time and getting a reminder of how the characters have changed. This series just keeps on surprising me.
