The Hand on the Wall

This might actually be a 5.
I was nervous things wouldn’t be wrapped up well, but everything met my expectations and I would say even exceeded them in areas. I didn’t have any questions at the end besides where the heck do the next two books go and why were they written.
I appreciated the further development of Janelle’s character and Nate is such a fantastic and unique character to me. David ended up falling a little flat for me, but I think that had more to do with where his storyline went than the actual character.
I feel like I noticed the writing a lot more in this one and really enjoyed it. The American political commentary? Kinda ew. I thought this would have more meaning to the actual story. It doesn’t. I don’t know how I feel about the random The Summer I Turned Pretty towards the end. What a cringe moment lol.
