Okay!! This book is my favorite of the series so far. Full spoilers.

Juliette became a MACHINEEE πŸ‘ŠπŸΌπŸ’₯ Wow! I loved her a lot. Although to me her speeches about taking over seemed a little childish and that she was overlooking a lot of the political ans practical points. It seemed to me to not make sense she would make it. But. This writer I guess really wanted to bring the characters to the top of the world? Very fast and unrealistic from a political standpoint. However, I love Violent Juliette 😎 She was kicking ass and taking names 🀭 Being BULLETPROOFF bestie-- you are unstoppable. I can not adore her openness to violence enough. She cracked someone's neck! (Who was that by the way? Hoping to find out soon.) She shot Paris to the fucking forehead TWICE. And the fact that she had nothing to say. Didn't care to even hear sleazebag's last words πŸ—―οΈ Amazing, showstopping, incredible.

Adam was getting on my last fucking nerve. Honestly thought Juliette needed to step up a little more and just glock him πŸ‘ŠπŸΌ He was being delusional and so fucking stupid. Ugh. I can't even talk about it. He's dead to me.

Which leads me to Aaron Warner. His reaction to finding out about his brothers was really sweet. He's changed a lot. He's become more rational. I like his character. He is so unapologetically himself. He is the drama! I love him for it.

Which brings me to my true love. My husband, Kenji. I am so in love with him. He deserves everything good in the world. He basically carried the whole book on his back. He is so fucking funny I laugh out loud and read and reread his lines πŸ₯°πŸ€ͺ I want him. Period. He is the best thing that happened to this series.

Also, closed doors on the spice? I honestly thought differently and expected so much more πŸ™„

So this series has been a little hard to get into. The first books were just a bunch of whining and crying. But, look how far we've come! This is more so my speed! Violence and comedy.

I have no idea what to expect from the rest of the series...

My favorite Juliette quote from this book was "Doubt had married my fear and moved into my mind, where it built castles and ruled kingdoms and reigned over me, bowing my will to its whispers until I was little more than acquiescing peon, too terrified to disobey, too terrified to diagree. I had been shackled, a prisoner in my own mind."
It speaks to me in terms of mental health issues like anxiety/ocd/autism/depression as well β€οΈβ€πŸ©Ή
