My kids love these books. We listened to the audio of this one as well and it was enjoyable for all of us. It's still a little more graphic than I would like for my 9 year old but both kids have read these before and were still on the edge of their seats listening to it again. It's a really great bridge series for kids who are older or more advanced in their reading and able to handle a little more intense content but not quite old enough yet for young adult books.
