I liked a lot about this one (mostly the baseball), but unfortunately most of my reading experience was overshadowed by my annoyance with Daphne. “There’s a pit in my stomach,” “I feel bad about lying” she said over and over again. Yeah — you should. She crossed some major lines as Duckie imo and even though I loved their happy ending I think the middle was pretty shitty
