this book started out as a 3-star and it was looking like i was going to finish it as a 3-star, but then the unexpected happen and suddenly, i couldn’t put it down. 

when i saw that it was a slow burn mystery i was intrigued because in my head that meant that the dread, the mystery, the plot was going to push me to the brink while we got there, but no. it was ok at the beginning, but it ended GREAT!

be prepared to read a little over 60% of the book before you hit that WTF IS HAPPENING HERE part. prior to, you’ll just be curious as to who to really trust.
