I read this in an effort to read more BIPOC authors.
What an amazing read! I am 27 years old now but if I had found this book when I was younger, I would have loved it just the same. Often it can be hard for me to get into YA books but I didn't struggle with this one, the characters, and the story!
I was really rooting for Moon to get the love she deserved and the topic of what happened between her mom was hard to read but sadly, relatable!
Read this.
