Overall I enjoyed it as an easy chic lit read. But it is a bit soapy and long. I found the insight into the life of opera singers interesting as well. I' m not surprised to see it was one of her first books.
I did find it astonishing that a singer should have 3 homes and so much money to spend but not have any help with the huge house or child care.
Rosanna is a bit naive, although she shows good sense at times. Don't want to give any spoilers. Donatella is a nasty piece of work, women like her are disgraceful.
