Entertainment factor alone is worth the 4 stars...proof? I finished it in 2 days, it was a breeze of a read, even if the topic is a little on the gory side.
I like how older and more modern examples are used and how the author shows you both the past and present way of thinking about women who commit such vile actions.
Are there a lot of changes in how society (and other women) view women who murdered not one but many people? ...not particularly,.but the author is able to be about as impartial as one can get when discussing such a topic, and successfully presents just about all sides of the argument - not whether they are guilty/innocent but rather the why, the cause, the reason that made all of these ladies deviate so radically towards murder and death.
