This was a good book, but it was a little slow to get started. This may be my fault because I didn't remind myself of the synopsis before I got started, and I was completely thrown off by the historic setting. But I enjoyed it when I got my feet. I do wish that the second half (or really, just the last couple chapters) was much more of the book. I really loved when the action ramped up.
