This is a great book, and it can clearly apply to boys in many ways. The important points are that relationships are more important than oxygen for young people, and because of this they are taught not to BE who they are. The book is an effort to help girls (and boys, I believe) overcome the Curse that prevents them from being true to themselves. The first half is a description of how things are; the second half is a practical guide to how parents (and teachers, and youth leaders) can help make things better.
