Look ... I love Jaymin’s books. Several of the series I have read, I have enjoyed. With that said I will finish this one only because I started it.
Maddison’s personality quirks carry over from Book 1 and I continue to find her aggravating as hell. Furthermore, not sure if Jasmin’s thesaurus broke down or whomever edited her book was being lazy? I admit I am a book SNOB but how can you not be driven crazy by word overuse. And I mean OVERUSE. What the hell happened?! Every frickin’ two pages someone was talking “softly”. That damnable word popped up so much that it now almost rivals my hatred for the words “moist” and “groan” (don’t as on that one). All in all, this series is sinking fast ... just like Atlantis.
