I once went on a bookstore date where my date and I bought each other books and surprised each other with them at the end. (His sweet idea.) I bought him Nothing to See Here even though I hadn’t read it because I knew people loved it so much. I’d heard an interview with Marin Ireland where she said after she finished recording the audiobook, she didn’t want to leave the booth, because she loved spending time with these characters so much. I loved it too. A moving, special novel.
