I don't usually post reviews with spoilers, but in this case, I'm making an exception.
This novella has some trigger warnings, but it's 100% worth the read. I loved seeing Jules develop her resilience in a hard situation with her (almost) ex-boyfriend, Daniel. Jake is respectful and helps Jules heal from her abuse. He's her friend first and doesn't push her to do anything she wouldn't want to. I'm really happy to have read this and it brings up important aspects of healing from abuse, like re-learning to trust yourself and your instincts and how to reconnect with the people around you once you've been isolated. Thank you, Amanda Bentley, for writing this story and giving a voice to healing!
