Hot Pursuit by Julie Ann Walker

I could not get into Fuel for Fire. I wanted to. I love Dagan and Chelsea, but the book as a whole I just couldn't get into it. So I worried the books were done in my eyes. BUT! I'm so close to the end I figured I may as well finish it out. I'm glad I did.

Hot Pursuit is Christian and Emily's story. I've always enjoyed their banter in previous books. The one thing that has been turning me off of the books is the heavier mission action where the romance isn't involved (I started reading them for the romance). I tend to skim those sections — and the same happened when the brothers showed up in this story. I don't want to read about them, their back story, or what they're doing and why they're doing it. I'd much rather it come out when they interact with the main characters. I'm also really tired of the Spider storyline. But that just may be me.

In the end, I enjoyed the book, it was a quick read, and I'll be going for #12 to see how our Angel fares. :)
