Wilde in Love by Eloisa James
3.0

I know this is the first in the series but I can't say I love it as much as some of her other work. I thought the premise of an explorer coming home to find such unwanted fame was interesting. I had a lot of fun with the main characters especially Willa and her desire to find someone sedate and as private as herself. The melodrama about the play and the missionary's daughter was funny and I adored the American Sable. I think this series has a lot of potential but I cannot say I am thrilled with the author's note at the end saying each installment will end on a cliff hanger.
