Lovely story! Feels like cosy romantasy but high stakes - which feels like an oxymoron, but is the best way I can think to describe it.
I loved the diversity between characters… both main characters in their 30’s, FMC isn’t stick thin, a non-binary character, etc. This was very refreshing!
My main criticism is the whole “how could anyone ever love ME?” trope. It was repetitive and a bit boring, and actually took away the tension building between Grace and Stephen. This may just be personal preference though!
