Truly Madly Deeply by L.J. Shen

4.0

This was my first encounter with L.J. Shen's writing, and I was pleasantly surprised by the depth of emotions and well-developed characters.

The story centers around Calla Litvin (Cal), a relatable FMC struggling with PTSD and some other mental health issues, and Ambrose (Row), a grumpy but swoon-worthy MMC. Their contrasting personalities create a dynamic and engaging narrative, filled with witty banter and playful teasing. One of the highlights of the book is the incredible chemistry between Cal and Row. Their interactions are filled with humor, understanding, and a deep connection.

The narration by Teddy Hamilton and Lila Winters is a significant asset to the audiobook. Their performances bring the characters and their emotions to life, making for a very enjoyable listening experience.
