Interesting Facts about Space
by Emily Austin
at first, this feels less focused than ‘everybody in this room will someday be dead’. but it all tied together in the end in a way that felt so so satisfying.
the way this author writes the female main characters is just incredible. the way she writes about queerness and mental illness and neurodivergence and parental relationships and navigating adulthood is so poignant. it hits so close to home, i need her to stop reading my diary but also to never stop writing books because i will read everything she puts out.
i would include a quote but i highlighted so much of this book that it would take way too long to decide which was most worthy.
can’t wait to read we could be rats!
