Interesting story and I give it praise for when it came out but I’ve been through many utopian stories now that this book felt predictable. I also felt the friendships he had with asher felt very hollow and not very fleshed out. Though they did an incredible job when

they revealed the community couldn’t see color 

which is so very well done and important to the story. Overall I do recommend as it’s quite short and easy to get through if you want to
give the classics a chance.
