Cards on the Table by Agatha Christie
2.0

Not my favorite Agatha Christie book.
Mr. Shaitana gets murdered at his own card party. Four people at the party have committed murder before, while the others are Colonel Race, Superintendent Battle, Hercule Poirot and his friend, writer Ariadne Oliver. I would argue that the characters in this book aren’t developed enough for the reader to care about what happens to them. Poirot and friends reveal the murderer after two suspects die and there is a questionable entrapment scenario at the end that doesn’t make much sense.
