I found it hard to get into the writing style, although once I did I enjoyed it, and the multiple plot lines throughout time just confused me. There was a lot of jumping forward and back through time very unclearly, and it felt at times like the pages had been scrambled. Also, the plot itself was slow moving hazy - I can list about four major events from the (very long) book, but it felt episodic.
