I really, really wanted to like this book. And in some ways I did. It was very funny and I laughed out loud numerous times, especially during the first half. However, during the second half of the book (once the MCs got together) things kind of sizzled out. The main suspense storyline never really played out in any sort of high stakes way, and the relationship between the MCs seemed superficial. The pacing also seemed a bit slow in the second half compared to the first half. I did enjoy this overall, and would definitely read more by this author.
