I know everyone speaks highly of Batman Year One, but I'm seriously astounded as to how good it is. It's honestly flawless.
Gordon is such a compelling character, from cleansing Gotham to his unfaithfulness... I just want to keep consuming his story. The Batman/Bruce Wayne stuff is great, but it's Gordon's story that really grips me.
Dark and gritty, this level of crime noir gets me weak at the knees. Total perfection.
