This book was incredible. The musicality of a novella based on a song (based on previous music- the afterward has sent me into a deep dive) is beautiful. There were so many lines in this book that were just perfection, in and out of context. Talking and thinking through this book after finishing just highlights more connections to the past, the present, and an imagined future, through the individual in a collective. My only kinda critique is that I wanted it to be longer- the connection to climate change could have been a little more flushed out, but its length was also a feature. Ultimately one of the best books I've ever read and I'm so excited to dive more into the ideas this presented. Plus the afterward and listening to the song was so fascinating!! (I definitely listened to each multiple times)
