Depraved Obsession by Morgan Elliott
4.0
Well…it’s safe to say I was OBSESSED with this book.
**SMALL SPOILER ALERT**
I haven’t gotten the chance to read the first book of the series yet so I was a bit afraid that I might be missing on some important points, but luckily that wasn’t the case.
From the beginning I was intrigued by Simone and Balor’s past and future and I was eager to learn their story. The character development was amazing. And can we talk about those spicy scenes? Okay, there weren't as many as my scandalous soul usually demands, but guess what? It worked! Less spice, more substance—like a perfectly seasoned dish.
Now, let's talk about our leading man, Mr. Balor. He's possessive, morally grey, alpha-male material. Oh, did I mention he's a virgin? I know, it's like finding a unicorn in a field of horses. He's saving himself for Simone, and excuse me while I swoon uncontrollably.
