Obviously I’m one of the many people very invested in the Gypsy Rose case. From the time I first watched The Act on Hulu to now I’ve been intrigued. After watching The Act and hearing that Gypsy was not even consulted on her side of things, it made me question what her side truly was.
While this book was a super quick and easy read, it was a good glimpse at what is to come in her memoir. While reading this it was what to see personal photographs, letters, and some of her call transcripts from when she was serving her time. With the way the media has been portraying Gypsy since her release, I’ve had many conflicting thoughts. So reading this and watching her lifetime special, has given me a lot of insight and things to think about. Obviously I’m not one to judge because Gypsy is the only one who lived her story. She’s the only one that can tell her experience.

I really enjoyed reading this, however this would be great as an audiobook because of the call transcripts! If you’re into Gypsy and her case, I’d recommend you check this out so you have an idea of what’s to come!
