FINE OKAY I GET IT. i read normal people and i was like i don’t know and now i’m sold. there were so many times i was just screaming at Francis just to say what she’s thinking instead of keeping her feelings to herself but that’s the whole point. salley rooney is just white people with mental health problems unable to communicate with one another and GOD DAMN IF I DONT LOVE IT. i’ve got clear post it notes and physical copies of both normal people and conversations with friends to annotate the shit out of. the way in which you follow francis’ descent into absolute soul wrenching all consuming love is diabolical it hits the right spots 10/10.
