This book was so unlike all of my other favorites, yet somehow managed to surpass so many novels I thought I adored. This has set a new standard for me. It was fantastical, gorgeous, thoughtful, gentle, inclusive, smart, and overall amazing. I was ecstatic throughout the reading experience and I am waiting with bated breath until the sequel comes out on a website I can buy it from. 

Favourite parts: the robot's names, mc with they/them pronouns, funky world-building, and brief discussions on what death means to different species.
