The Day I Stopped Falling for Jerks by Max Monroe

4.0

I loved how this story is told. Lucky is telling her side of her many life stories on a podcast and it was like you’re really listening to her except your reading it, obviously. I really like her. There were a lot of parts that had me giggling. She doesn’t have the best track record with boyfriends and it was fun listening to her tell her many crazy stories. Then she meets Ollie. Oh, Ollie. I’m totally Team Ollie all the way. The only thing that made me feel a wee bit awkward was when they got to their one and only fun times. I felt like I was intruding on their fun. I know! I wanted to look away because she’s talking about it on her podcast and it just felt weird. I’ve never heard a juicy podcast like that before I tell you. I’m sure the audiobook would be great for these two books. But it’s fine, it’s just a me thing. My stone heart was beating pretty hard for Lucky and Ollie at the end. I can’t wait to hear his side of things in his book!
