I finished, nay, devoured this book in a day. Noah was such an interesting protagonist, a hopeless romantic with altruistic goals of being a beacon of hope for the trans community at just sixteen years old. Unfortunately for Noah, he is his own worst enemy. He is the main character of his own life, in real life and online, which blinds him to everyone else's problems and causes him to act in selfish ways that he has to apologize for constantly. I understood that the author wanted a flawed MC who is trans, so I was able to overlook a lot of Noah's messiness for most of the novel. Although the Drew storyline fell flat and disappeared abruptly, I enjoyed how supportive Noah's family and friends were and how the story normalized the use of different pronouns.
