2024 update: very enjoyable! my only complaint is that it just isnt Enough. i want more of the world and characters for them to be fully fleshed out in this book. helps that its a series, and one that i own so i can keep reading it, but the fact that much of this felt more surface level, especially as a singular novel, takes away from the book.
