Promises of Heaven is a dark, slow burn second chance romance, with action, drama, lies, secrets, suspense, some spice and my favourite twist and turns.
Icarus is a man with a broken past, and heart, he is the a devil with a pretty mouth and just as hot as the hell he comes from.
Avalyn has scars from her past that are all to deep. She always seems to find her self in the wrong place at the wrong time, danger is attracted to her.
I enjoyed the past tidbits that where scattered throughout the book showing that their stories were always meant to be entwined
