I read the book a couple of days after finishing Masques and wasn't totally sure what to expect.
I had really liked the first book and my feelings towards its sequel are pretty similar. - I liked the book from beginning to end, but the last two pages or so I LOVED. I have this love-hate relationship with books lately where I really love a book and then at the end there's this major cliffhanger or other that makes me want to cry out in agony - not this book, in this case the end although a bit brief, is actually my favorite part of the book because it made me love the book more instead of making me fret about it for hours. I found the book a very refreshing read.
