Okay, I’m someone who just can’t DNF books and series. I’m currently reading the last book in this series and I absolutely do not recommend it lol.
The writing is SO annoying. The constant “yaaaasss” and sayings like “hold on to your tits, world. Callie. Is. Back”(this one is from the fourth book, but I just read that so I had to include it as an example) are extremely cringe worthy.
I’m not going to include spoilers, but the first book gave me massive groomer vibes. The FMC is only 15 years old when she meets the 270+ years old love interest. Like YUCK. Only in the third (and partially in the second) book it is fully explained why he fell in love with her, which made the groomer vibes less but still.
I only continued this series because the plot is interesting. I skimmed book 2,3 and 4 and only really red the interesting plot bits. But the writing is just so cringe.
