The Blinding Knife by Brent Weeks

4.0

Much better than his Night Angel series. Almost gave up on this author after that.
The magic system isn't one of my favorites, but different enough to make it interesting.
The characters don't have a lot of depth but are interesting enough.
The story is pretty decent and follows many characters, although first person narrative is limited to maybe five of them. The plot feels a little contrived, but not too bad.

I give this series (yes, this review is for the series) 4 stars mostly because the story is gripping and keeps me entertained.
