I really enjoyed this reread. I annotated it this time and it was really fun. I've also been buddy-reading it so that may have helped in my enjoyment level.
I did make notes of passages that stood out in reference to the parallel worlds in these. It's been fun finding little hints sprinkled throughout.

[Second Read - 2017 - 5 stars]
I feel like I enjoyed this book more the second time around. I was able to slow down while reading it as opposed to my fast reading when I'm reading a good book for the first time. It felt like kind of a filler book: used to fill in some of the back story and prepare for the next book, but it was still enjoyable with a little bit of action sprinkled throughout. I'm actually going to up my rating from 4 stars to 5 stars after this reading. I loved the themes of friendship and loyalty in this book, which I was aware of the first time I read it, but paid more attention to the second time.
