katiez624 's review for:
Salvation of a Saint
by Keigo Higashino
This is the second installment of the Detective Galileo, and it appears from the reviews this is where the series peaks. Although the solution to the crime was similarly clever as with the first book, the journey it took to get there was very repetitive and tedious.
The writing is somewhat stilted, with everyone being extremely polite, and the police procedure is oddly unprofessional. I'm not sure if that is a product of the culture or the translation. I appreciate the creative approaches the crimes employ, but this is where I will be parting ways with Detective Galileo.
