What Was D-Day? by Who HQ, Patricia Brennan Demuth

adventurous informative inspiring tense fast-paced

4.0

Some of the books by Who HQ tend to censor the actual truth, but this one didn’t seem to hold back. Not that it had any reason to. Most people don’t try to hide the horrors of WWII to push their own agenda, not like the Civil War, Texas War, Trail of Tears, and others. This reminded me of the reason I like reading Who HQ books as an adult. It’s bite size history in easy to understand, but interesting stories. This one was no exception. I knew very little about D-Day before reading this except that it took place in Normandy. Now I know quite a lot and I’m very glad that I do.
