The Nobleman's Guide to Scandal and Shipwrecks
by Mackenzi Lee
I really enjoyed this final entry in the Montague siblings story. I think this book needs a content warning for anxiety/depression/suicidal ideation - living inside Adrian's head with his anxiety/depression for the duration of the story was a bit difficult as someone who also struggles with (thankfully milder) anxiety, but I think Mackenzi does a masterful job of making it very realistic and not painting it as a one-dimensional thing with any kind of easy fix. It was lovely seeing Monty, Percy, Felicity, George, Sim, and other favorite characters from the previous books now grown up, and I do appreciate the continued presence of queer characters of a variety of shapes and sizes. Overall, I'd say this was less "fun" than the previous books in the series, but more emotional and thought-provoking, and a really enjoyable read that moved me to tears on several occasions.
