Our Year of Maybe by Rachel Lynn Solomon

5.0

Oh man, I can't believe I never wrote a review for this incredible book. It made me feel so many things. At this point I don't remember many of the details (thanks, chronic illness) but I remember feeling this absolute tornado of sadness and hope and longing and just PAIN, but the best kind. It explores so many topics but mainly unrequited love and growing apart from childhood friends and realizing that maybe your relationship just isn't healthy anymore. I don't even recall when exactly I read this but I know it was sometime in the past year or two and it came to me at exactly the right time. It hit me HARD, right in the chest, and left me feeling breathless, and I loved every minute of it. I am absolutely dying for Rachel Lynn Solomon's next book.
