Writers & Lovers was such a lovely read. It feels like the end of summer, the end of youth, and the end of being able to do whatever you want without consequences. The story follows a main character who’s dealing with the loss of a parent while juggling relationships and jobs, all while trying to get her own book published. There’s so much about her journey that feels relatable, yet it’s different enough to keep it engaging. It also wraps up with a wonderfully satisfying, full-circle ending, which I always appreciate. It might not be everyone’s cup of tea, but I found it to be really special.
