Brief Summary: This is the story of Beth, Bobby, and Harrison. It is about love lost and second chances across several years. This starts with Beth becoming newly engaged to Harrison, an up-and-coming lawyer. The book jumps between their story and Beth's story from 6+ years ago when she met Bobby, the now world-famous rock star.
Trigger Warnings: On-page physical abuse, sexual content (3 chili peppers), swearing, death, brief medical content.
Opinion: I absolutely loved reading this book. My emotions were pulled into Beth's experiences with Harrison, with Bobby, and in processing her own role in the changes in her life. I read the last 108 pages in one sitting and could not put it down! I nearly cried at several points just due to the emotional rawness of the story. Be prepared to by wrecked!
