When Women Were Dragons by Kelly Barnhill
3.25
emotional reflective medium-paced
Plot or Character Driven: Character
Strong character development: Complicated
Loveable characters: Yes
Diverse cast of characters: No
Flaws of characters a main focus: No

The book is beautifully written, examines important difficulties on how society stifled discussion on sexuality (and briefly, gender) but ultimately needs more examination of poverty and intersectionality - is overly supportive and focused on successful, well to do attractive white women accepting each other without a single minority character of any gender
