I knew where this was going the whole time and despite that I still enjoyed myself. The author has a wonderful tone to her writing. The puns are hilarious and it was such a bittersweet read. I think I would definitely read more from her.  I think the thing about romance that annoys me but ultimately doesn’t push me away from the genre is that I can always tell what the ending will be - this really was no different.
