Daredevil Legends, Vol. 1: Yellow by Richard Starkings, Tim Sale, Jeph Loeb

4.0

This is a different Daredevil comic. It's a diary of sorts, and an origin story of sorts. This is a mellow Daredevil writing a love letter to Karen Page after her tragic demise, an explanation of why he took up the Daredevil persona and why he changed his costume from yellow to red. It is also an ode to an inexistent version of the Golden Age of comics. There is almost no action and no page-turning mystery. And Tim Sale's art goes perfectly with Jeph Loeb's text.
