So I’m going to preface this by saying I love dark romance and it is probably my favorite romance subgenre. This book was too much for me and not because I didn’t read the triggers. I knew what I was getting into before starting it. The book felt like it was written for shock value and to see how many triggers it could shove into a novel. I basically made it through the whole book hating the MMCs and wanting the FMC to escape. The MMC redemption arc started way too late for me to care. This one just wasn’t for me.
